Where I’m From...

I am from my stuffed animal Dalmatian, from Windex and Fisher Price.

I am from the 3 story house on Mobile Street.

I am from the irises’, the snapdragons planted around the oak tree.

I am from family reunions and family humor, from my mom and dad and my grandma.

I am from the watching Sunday night football and watching movies on late night Fridays.

I am from Christianity. I am from the nighttime Christmas mass and the early morning Easter mass.

I'm from the mile high city of Colorado, my family is many cultures such as Filipino, Irish and Italian, steak and potatoes that I have when I go to my grandma’s house.

From the man who served in WWII and got his finger taken off by a bullet,  my grandpa who passed away in 2010 that i didn’t really spend much time with, and the people that fill my heart with joy, my mom and dad my dad.  They are always funny and caring to me.

I am from South Dakota, Arizona, California and the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. That have 2 reasons, my love for adventure and camping

I am from the friends that joke and hang out with me.

I am from my mom’s cousin that takes us rafting on the 8 mile stretch of  Arkansas River every summer when I go camping.

I am from the cold winter days playing in the snow in December

I am from the hot summer afternoons splashing in the pool

I am from skateboarding and riding  my bike down my street

I am from my new house that I just moved into just 1 year ago and from my family the most important of all

I am from Gap kids to Hollister and Vans

I am from the boring days at school, listening to things I already know

I am from roasting marshmallows at my grandma’s house

I am from sleepovers and parties for every birthday

I am from a big family that would do anything for me anytime
