Advantages in contests

Advantages can be present in many places, one place per say could be a video game contest. You could have the advantage of having better hand-eye coordination compared to other people making your reaction time much faster. Being able to be faster in this instance with reaction time makes you have much of an advantage. You could be able to react about someone coming around the corner before they are even able to take 1 step away from the turn. Being able to have a faster reaction time isn't all hand-eye coordination, the advantage to it could also literally just be the time you have of reacting to things with your neurons sending things to your brain for you to be able to press the trigger to fire at them. The age factor in this could matter A LOT because if someone were to be 30 they would have a slower reaction time because their mind isn't able to process things as fast as per say a 15 year old mind because 15 year old have such a fresh mind they can process things much faster based on their minds being able to learn things and adapt faster than the mind of a 30 year old. The gap of a 1 year difference between people wouldn't matter much I wouldn't think, the matter of practice could make the difference and being able to know what some people would do by watching them and learning but everyone also has a different play style so you cannot always know. The way Gladwell explains the advantages of some people does not apply to my area of field entirely it can in some ways. Gladwell would take my response into consideration but he would be able to find some way to connect it to his and be able to make it seem more logical for the age of not even a year for this to happen could be of dire significance. I would agree with him once he would prove all the facts to me and show me exactly how it would connect. This chapter of the book made me re think on my advantages because I forgot of how much age could affect the coordination of yourself along with just the reaction time of the body.
