Daily question
By: Mikayla Bagley
I do
swimming as a sport. When I was in seventh grade I would always go to the pool
and just swim until it was time to go. I was never really on a swim team until I
came to CT. my first day was horrible because I wasn’t ready. The other girls
had lots of experience because they were on teams already and knew everything
needed to know. While me on the other hand only had about 4 months’ worth of practice.
I almost quit because I didn’t think I would ever improve and I thought I would
always be the youngest that everyone was mean too or had to watch out for and
make sure to not be my swimming partner. I tried really hard to improve. It must
have worked because now I can move as fast as them, maybe even faster. So I definitely
think there are advantages for some people. As in having more experience or
more practice time than others.
Some hockey
students are older than others which is an advantage for having more time
practicing or having more time to learn than the younger hockey players. Which relates
to my daily question because in both it is basically saying that others had more
practice then the other people playing the sports.
