A community is a group or a society that is bonded together because of similar interests or beliefs. An example of a community it a group of soccer players or a type of church organization. I believe the people who are more fortunate do have any social responsibility to help the less fortunate because in my point of view i think its the right thing to do to help out someone in need.
An outlier is something that is situated away from or is classed differently from a main or related body. Roseto is an outlier by the lifestyle and culture the community lives by and how different it is from other communities. Reading this chapter has changed my ideas in the daily question by giving me a better understanding of what a community is going along with the book. My thoughts on whats makes a thriving community are they need a healthy enviroment, lifestyle.
